Why is the part about Sinclair news reporting on "Islamic terror" and "Trump support" singled out. Do they not report on anything else at all? Or is reporting on both this stuff by default a wrong thing to do?

AFAIK the only data is domain name, record and the incoming ip. I don't care if they store the first two.

Can you explain why you made a point to say "supervise students"? From your statement it looks like there is no expectation to do original/independent research. Is that the standard practise too?

Good investigative thread. If eu does decide to break Google up (and I hope they do), hopefully it will be the data collection and advertising in one completely separate firm. Preferably android in another and rest of Google another

This is much more blatant in my country- India.

Rich no-name dudes get themselves a birthday trend (sometimes worldwide) albeit briefly. Given that Twitter has personnel manually looking at trends it shouldn't be hard for them to immediately kill that trend. I've often seen them go on for hours and started by accounts which follow the standard bot template in their bio.

Of course of this were a trend about wiki leaks twitter is quick to suppress. I know people in the US like to pick political sides but they're slowly "progressing" themselves towards 1984 by supporting this.
