Is there a place where I can read real use cases / actual deployments of AI Agents?
The internet is flooded with examples similar to below but these in my head are not true AI Agents right?
1. If email arrives with pdf, check pdf for invoice information and put it in a google sheet is not a AI Agent? Its a workflow that now has llm call as a node
2. Check my google search console and suggest ideas for SEO - This again is a cron job (run every xhrs), collate information and feed it into a llm to generate ideas. This is a workflow as well.
3. personal assistants - I ask for information and llm figures out which tool to call and gets it and writes to a database
perhaps coding agents which do some stuff autonoumously when prompted is a good example. Is there a compilation of real use case anywhere online?

I have been thinking about p2p apps recently how things moved from IRC to Messengers to Whatsapp/Telegram/Signal.. what will be the defining characteristics of next p2p communication app?
1. Privacy - Signal claims to be the gold standard, very limited meta data capture, fully encrypted.
2. Features Template - Whatsapp/Wechat/Telegram offer a series of 100+ features
3. Pure P2P - Bitchat / Mesh comms but doesnt seem to be really scalable to whatsapp level
Immediate future seems to be implementation of EU DMA to enable inter operability between chat apps
Challenges in front us - More governments trying to figure out how to tap into chats - up the surveillance, more scamsters sending apk files, suspicious links, Pegasus style snooping, governments doing internet shutdowns to control citizens..
Wondering what is the future of p2p and is someone building it already? Would love to learn / read more on it.

I have been through the same stage in life where suddenly I felt lost and what I was doing did not make sense any more. In my case, I spent all my energy at work, never had any hobbies or interests outside of it.. so I took time off when I felt I was financially secure. I dont have all the answers but on that journey to figure things. But also there is very thin difference between burn out and mid life crisis.
I would ask you to start by questioning Irrespective of money, do you enjoy what you are doing? Is your work environment burning you out instead of your actual work? Would you be happy doing what you are doing if it didnt feel like a task?
Also in my opinion, its not about simplier life, its about what will make you happy.. some people find happiness in making money

Hi HN! I built RemindMe, an iOS app that uses AI to create context-aware reminders.
Unlike traditional reminder apps, RemindMe understands natural language and monitors real-world conditions:
• "Remind me to take an umbrella when it rains tomorrow" - We monitor weather
• Snap a photo of an event poster - We extract dates/times automatically (OCR + GPT)
• "Alert me when I'm near any grocery store" - Location category detection, not specific addresses
• Track YouTube uploads, product availability, website changes
What makes it different?
• Photo intelligence: Snap event posters, we extract dates automatically
• Natural language: "Remind me when it rains tomorrow" - we figure it out
• Smart monitoring: Track YouTube uploads, weather, product availability
• Location intelligence: Trigger at ANY grocery store, not just one address
Would love your feedback!

Hi everyone,
After trying out a few SaaS ideas, one thing kept frustrating us: getting users to convert from free trials to paid. We noticed the simplest solution was well-timed email campaigns — reminders, feature highlights, even simple “here’s what you might be missing” messages.
But setting up these automated flows is harder than it should be, especially if you just want to connect Stripe and quickly target trial users.
So we’re working on LiftMRR.com — a lightweight tool to help Stripe customers run automated campaigns that encourage trial → paid conversion. It’s still early stage, please do give it a try and would love to hear your feedback?
