Isn't this how gambling works though? You and I place a similar value of chips on a table, then the winner walks it over to a third party (the counter at the casino) to exchange the chips for currency?

It is very common for each individual phone in a call center to have a direct inward dial number, but when they dial out they want the main support contact number to be displayed so you can get routed appropriately and not harass their tech support employee.

Just like how sometimes I consider how little I should care about a social media frequenter’s opinions. I am, for better or for worse, getting near the last willing comment I am going to leave on this, or any, social media site.

That is not due to age or illness, it is due to enshittification. Not by the admin but by the populace.

At least Minecraft is generally additive as opposed to mucking up the previously working mechanics.

(This of course is excluding things like the big “Flattening” of data structures that happened around 1.13 or so)
