Creator of the site here, thanks for your comment.
The build system randomize an example to showcase on the homepage, I actually find it funny that its different example every time.
Regarding the upvote system. This is a static documentation website. I have created a crazy unique solution to have upvotes working but the website had literally zero traffic in years, so I guess that wasn't the most important feature to focus on.
Sorry to disappoint, I'm doing it completely voluntary - happy to get any help here: https://github.com/eladg/ffmpeg-by-example

Hi everyone, ever since YouTube changed their recommendation engine from the subscription feed to a personalized recommendation feed, I find myself spending hours of my day (unwillingly!) on YouTube.
I noticed I really got addicted and I don't like it.
So I downloaded all of my 'watch' data from YouTube and I'm trying to research how they were able to program my mind.
The data I have is a timeline of every video I've watched in the past 2.5 years. It includes the hour of the day I played the video, the duration of the video and other metadata about the video/channel etc.
I wanted to get your recommendation on what interesting correlations I can find in the data?
I thought of simple questions such as: Which channels I watch the most? which tags/topics/key words in title I watch the most? What is the average time I spend a day on YouTube? How much of it is continuous?
ps.
If anyone would like to panther on this research please reach out. My name is Elad and my last name is Gariany. My email is my first@last.com

I've been interviewing for the past month in SF. The only thing bad about my interviewing processes experience is BAD INTERVIEWERS with no sensibility to HUMAN SKILL (i.e. not technical skills).
Team fit is what makes people shine in their jobs and no one is asking about it... The industry is well developed now for us to stop asking about reversing binary trees and start asking about how many friends you one had in high school

3 letters of a NPM developers package? for real?? I'm pretty sure the owners of Kik wouldn't care that that developer package is named Kik. I can find 1000s of mentions of Kik online which validates the trademark. Starting from @kik on twitter to an online project of a random student.
Pursuing a NPM package names?????? for real?!
If you've ever worked with lawyers you would have known that they would always be on the conservative (safe) side without understand the business implications.
