What you said doesn't make sense, what do you mean by "using claude code is the only way to be sure you won't get charged API pricing" ?? they can block your account or make the api more sensible for their harness to detect but the risk of being charged API is 0% when you are on a plan.

Not new but quite cool. Note: https://creepjs.org/ is NOT official the repo is https://github.com/abrahamjuliot/creepjs
Anyone knows how fingerprinting works mathematically? what do they use? when the signals may vary even slightly, your final hash should be sufficiently accurate and stable. A simple hash won't do it.
Changing IP, missing cookies/session, resizing window, TLS/SSL browser handshake, screen depth, font rendering, MTR, network latency if you want to measure, etc... any signal alone means little but as a whole mathematically what is it possible to use to get a pretty good stable hash? something I want to learn more about. I guess it has something to do with vectors and clustering signals but no idea and would like to know what exists mathematically to archive this (if possible or with very small error).
And then I want a browser that lets me opt-out all WebAPIs ever possible.

Has someone ever found a good solution for long / infinite lists / grids virtualization not breaking browsers native text search?
Maybe for this we need a new web "Search" API instead of JS. Not sure it can be done otherwise without browser's help.

Yeah, I've read that and find it a little sus. The article for me was fine even if not perfect.
It's the first time in my internet life (20y+) that I go find a wiki article to share to a friend because the US keeps weakening and I found it gone.
Didn't know it was that easy to remove a wikipedia article by just hinting it was AI generated.

I met a Tesla engineer on Reddit a few years ago. We got talking, he referred me to Tesla, and I ended up getting an offer for what was basically my dream role.
He was a complete stranger and incredibly kind, supportive, and helpful throughout the process. Still grateful for that. Small acts like that restore a bit of faith in humanity.
It also reminded me of a Steve Jobs quote:
“Most people never pick up the phone. Most people never ask. And that’s what separates, sometimes, the people who do things from the people who just dream about them. You have to act, and you have to be willing to fail. If you’re afraid of failing, you won’t get very far.” - SJ

yeah. Lesson learned: never share on HN late at night without paying more attention. I’m sorry guys. It wasn’t my intention at all, I was trying to learn about time syncing and thought they really needed help to keep the site and devs support up. 2 months left and 1k goal looked sad and perfect for us to help. I failed in the title badly and no idea what they are doing by changing the goal. I will dig deeper later. It was 100% my fault. Stop donating. I only hope they are not a scam. :/
