Two things:

First, it’s funny how browsers finally get to the point where good html tooltips can be done with just HTML/CSS via Anchor Positioning and Popover APIs, eliminating the need for JS for tooltips. But then there is a “one more thing” that pulls JS right back into it.

Second, I think the tooltip context could be applied to “tooltip groups”, so it’s not a check to see if the whole page is “warm”, but whether a group is warm.

Just toss them. Make a real assessment on their quality or worth and if you think it’s very unlikely someone in your immediate community would not only pick it up but actually read it, toss them.

Agreed. It’s ridiculous to think that holding your breath long enough to affect your cognitive thinking is what game designers have in mind.

I used Shadow PC for a long time. Never any issues over several years. Lots of reasons in preferred it over GeForce. I can expound on that later if needed

It won’t ALWAYS be nice little rollers. And it depends on diet. Right now with 1 year old it’s a lot of smears but with a good shake they peel off and into the toilet, sometimes helped with the spray wand.

We also use a cheap synthetic fleece cloth liner, too. We just got a couple yards of it from fabric store and cut it into strips. The poop mostly hits that, and since it’s synthetic it slides off well.

My experience with two kids is that solids are easier. With good diet, the poop has a good chance of just being a “roll off” and into the toilet. Get a spray wand/ hand held bidet attachment for toilet to help rinse it off before it goes in wash.

Consider just doing dropping the global leader board. Who benefits from it? For most, it’s a passing curiosity. But for some, it’ll be an obsession which ends up endangering them, animals/plants, and others. These kinds of contents can encourage someone who may not tromp through a delicate bog normally to decide to step off the boardwalk and recklessly go get that picture for the app points. And for 99% of the world, it’s just an additional screen with no chance of being relevant.

Replace it with a leaderboard amongst phone contacts/friended users

I so desperately want this, I think about it about 5 times a week and probably mention it to my wife as often. But in my old small house I doubt I could ever get one set up. Much better than a touch less one.

My understanding is that you need an account and Internet for the download and license activation, but then works offline (they specifically say “for extended periods”) in the FAQ. That is pretty much the same as v2 right?

Perhaps they know that a large buyout will help their employees for various reasons, and they set aside their ego to take care of them.

Gathered from the FAQ, you only pay if you want Canva AI features. Yes, you create a Canva account, which is free, so that you can get your license. With old affinity, you also needed an account to receive the license.

In the new UI the ai features are tucked into an additional “studio” like how layout, raster, and vector are individual studios. You can choose which studios have a visible toggle, so you can hide the Canva AI toggle if you don’t want to see it.

Perhaps it gets worse over time. But right now, they’ve just made it free.

Also, humans will intentionally act counter to regulations just to be contrarian or send a message. Look at “rolling coal”, or people who race through speed meters to see if they can get a big number. Or recently near me they replaced a lane to many a dedicated bus lane, which is now a “drive fast to pass every rule follower” lane.
