They are frustrating to be sure, especially the moped versions, but are imo still far better to be around then drivers. I'd much rather the bike lanes to be together and throttled ebikes moved to the road, but it wouldn't make near as much a difference as getting people to not run reds or put down their phones.

I really liked my palma but the display broke randomly (not the screen) while in a soft pocket within 3m of getting it. Support was no help. I just won't trust them again

I would recommend Psiphon [1,2] most (all?) of their code is open source and their main goal is to get around censorship blocks. They do have some crypto side projects but the main product is very solid.
[1] https://psiphon.ca/

In this case[0] the CEO (Chris Kirchner) stole ~20M$ from the company causing employees to go unpaid for months, and outside of California all they got was owed wages (no interest or anything). While mentioned in the article, what he was mainly convicted of was defrauding investors rather than stealing from employees.
> Apparently, projecting personal prosperity was more important to him than making payroll
He actually had the temerity early on in the debacle when he was still pretending there was money to tell us that they had decided to not pay us that week because it would be bad for the companies investments to withdraw funds then.
[0] https://www.justice.gov/usao-ndtx/pr/slync-founder-sentenced...

I'd agree about the warranty. I just bought a palma in the fall and was loving it until it's display randomly broke (screen is fine, just the e-ink display) while in a soft internal pocket, completely refused any warranty and cost to replace was 50% of the palma itself. Would definitely avoid them

I'd be careful with boox, just had the display on my Palma break with no obvious cause as it was in a soft inner pocket. Screen wasn't broken, just the eink display underneath.

I recently got a Palma as well, but just had the display randomly break in my soft coat pocket (note screen and touch are totally fine, just the eink). I would recommend other people avoid them due to this random breakage.

Personally, I've used 1Password, Bitwarden, and LastPass. I switched from LastPass to Bitwarden a few years ago (use it on android and browsers for the most part), and use 1Password for work. Overall I'd say 1Password has the worst UX of all of them, though it looks "clean". It routinely messes with my settings on update, it's password generator is annoying to work with, and it doesn't pick up new logins I've entered well (eg. if I tell 1password to create a login from this page, it populates nothing while bitwarden sets the name and URL + any username or pwd it thinks it sees).
I could go into more depth but overall Bitwarden has been a great daily driver for the past few years and would recommend to anyone.
