Where I work we have a physician who doesn’t see patients. He reads procedures and supervises 8 mid-levels. It’s an assembly line. There are inservices that in effect ensure maximum level of encounter complexity to maximize billing.

Why Not Smart Roads?

So smart roads? A road that provides relative location and speed of each vehicle for computational efficiency and avoidance. This seems like the most reasonable autonomous driving scheme. Enter destination. Network provides minimal path for vehicles not to smack into each other as the distance between cars is maintained for safety and efficiency. The only safety drawback I can think off is non-vehicle hazards in the roadway. I realize there are governmental infrastructure requirements, which would stop such an endeavor. It also means less money to be made so less incentive for commercial capital investment. I have a long car commute, and this thought experiment occasionally occupies the drive. What other considerations am I missing?

When I upgraded my 2019 mini I thought I bricked it. It was a couple of days of heroics to get it upgraded. Kind of a blur now. With the minor annoyances, not any more shitty in aggregate than before. (current 13" macbook pro - no upgrade issues at all)

It sounds like an "ain't" version of learned. I just read this from Grammarly:

"Learnt and learned are both used as the past participle and past tense of the verb to learn. Learned is the generally accepted spelling in the United States and Canada, while the rest of the English-speaking world seems to prefer learnt."

Apparently I'm an egocentric American.
