The idea here is great and I think it has a lot of legs but I think inherently people will have initial concerns with security.
Do you have plans to only allow reading mail from specific senders, and giving fine-grained control on the API side?
I would like to give this to an AI agent but only initially where I and my team can forward mail to the agent, and not give it the ability to draft and send emails on its own.

In TDD spec is converted to behaviours that can be ran as automated tests so if the logic of the code changes, it breaks the spec and in turn the tests
Whereas documentation can (inevitably) go stale with no feedback or build failures

Don't feel bad about taking time to give yourself more energy in the long run. Go for a walk or jog. Do something you enjoy to help recharge your batteries.
If you plan to continue spending time on personal projects or CV, maybe change your scenery and go to a nice cafe or similar. Maybe coworking spaces or new environments will unlock opportunities to network in ways you haven't thought of.
Keep your mind focused on the end goal and consider each step a learning opportunity.
Also, take this time to do things you might not have had the time to do before: learn a new programming language or tech stack or write that blog post you've been sitting on; you never know what doors this type of thing could open for you.
Best of luck!

Over the years as "plain HTML"[1] websites in the mainstream have moved aside for JS-rich "Web Apps" I've started to appreciate the few sites that still exist as primarily HTML and CSS.
They load fast, respond instantly, and don't overwhelm you with newsletters, cookies, privacy or other pop-ups; but most importantly they are reliable and for whatever reason -- perhaps the Boring™ hosting over popular cloud hosting providers -- they are always up.
Anyway, some of mine are listed below but I'd love to see if the HN community has some treasured sites they still love and use regularly (other than HN of course).
- EpGuides[2] - plain-text list of episodes for TV shows including original air date and links to episodes as CSV, Wikipedia, IMDB, etc.
- Snooker.org[3] - Lite snooker live scores, TV schedule, tournament brackets + API access
- Live Football on TV[4] - Tabular list of football (soccer) fixtures and which TV network is showing them (UK only)
--
[1] I'm aware that not all of them are plain HTML, they are likely rendered from various server-side backends and some even have ads but I'm using that term to mean essentially once it renders, it's static and has minimal if any client-side interaction
[2] e.g. https://epguides.com/Lost/
[3] https://www.snooker.org/
[4] https://www.live-footballontv.com/
