<p>The binary blob issue has been brought up since back in 2020. And since then very little real progress has happened from what I can tell.<p>I am not willing to use the software due to that issue. It just seems suspicious.</p>

<p>Current Honda hybrids are like that. The only time the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) is directly connected to the drive train is when the speed gets to above around 60MPH. <p>I use VMs myself. I use Proxmox and have it setup so that I can spin up a fresh VM in around 10-20 seconds when needed. I also like that I can take snapshots.<p>I really want to limit the amount of software I am installing on my main system due to possible security issues.</p>
