<p>Why can't verification simply be go to post office, clerk will affadavit that you presented correct ID via online form. Which could also do the photo lookup for good measure.<p>Store that fact in the computer. Good for one ID usage. Good for less critical stuff like this weed thing (versus say a visa application which may need to store).<p>The analogy is a nightclub bouncer checks your ID.</p>

<p>In my case, ignorance unlocked. I never heard of tk and I remember 36k modems so old enough.<p>I think reason is I went to work, slung .NET and didn't think much about computers otherwise except occasional reading some C++ books for "fun".</p>

<p>I sort of hope we land on 2 agents, one working for the candidate and one for the employee do a screen round. Salary compatiability could be negotiated by a 3rd party bot that knows both parties ranges and what would be needed each end of range, and figure out yes/no worth going ahead. Such a time saver.</p>
