Been working on this spaced repetition app / incremental reading app. I used SuperMemo for about a year straight, found the UI not that great, so I decided to make my own incremental reading app. Think: incremental everything. Supports multiple spaced repetition algorithms FSRS-6, SuperMemo 18, SuperMemo 20. https://github.com/melpomenex/incrementum-tauri https://readsync.org

If anyone likes TheLounge style clients (web clients) consider checking out CryptIRC https://github.com/gh0st68/CryptIRC. Have been using this for a few months now and love it. Installable as a PWA on your phone. Self-hosted by you.

Working on an incremental reading / spaced repetition app that uses the best spaced repetition algorithms. I reverse engineered SuperMemo 18's algorithm (https://github.com/melpomenex/sm18-re), SuperMemo 20's algorithm (https://github.com/melpomenex/sm20-re). https://github.com/melpomenex/incrementum-tauri you can try the demo (not everything that works in the Tauri version works on web) here: https://readsync.org

I love the idea behind Spaced Repetition, and especially incremental reading. Reading incrementally (https://supermemo.guru/wiki/Incremental_reading) is the best way to retain information and helps you read faster too! I didn't see any app out there that had a modern user interface with good UX (SuperMemo is notorious for it's hard to grok interface). So I made my own https://github.com/melpomenex/incrementum-tauri and demo here: https://readsync.org

Not his old posts, but if you're at all interested in seeing his old streams circa 2015/2016, there's an ongoing live stream here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iyknwjYbRE
