As of late, it seems that any thread over ~40 or so emails takes upwards of 15 seconds to load, is quite laggy, and causes instability in the browser even after leaving the long thread. Loading attachments from such threads also seems slower than <5 message threads.

It goes through the extraordinarily diverse sensory systems of all animals. In the push for at-the-edge, exteme-low-latency, low-resource "intelligent" agents, mimicking some of these system may lead to cool systems.

FDA absolutely reviews stated design processes and audits against these. See 21CFR211 - The perspective here is that even if we are actually pretty confident that it is just "one little tweak here", a one-letter change could have wide ranging affects when interacting with the human body.

I didn't say it was just marketing - I was asking for additional data to shed light on how robust (or frail) this result is. I don't think there is enough in this press release.

Is there a comprehensive white-paper anywhere with sample sizes and error bars? Otherwise this seems like an anecdote.

How do we know this study isn't just measuring the effect of that additional week? Also how many subjects was this sera pulled from? Are the subjects materially similar between the second and third dose groups?

Not exactly surprising the people selling the third dose conclude that it is needed. It's like when the waiter recommends the most expensive option.

Does swear by any Google Doc add-ons for ensuring that certain invariants hold in the creation of large google docs with many contributors over many weeks.

I am looking for an extension that I could write arbitrary rules for that would run against my doc. E.g.

- Don't use the word "participant" - Replace with "subject" - Don't use non-standard styling, only use paragraph styles

I found Red Flag - but that seems to get low reviews.

Suggestions are much appreciated.

It may be worth considering if you are naive in thinking that Putin doesn’t explicitly fund and direct the execution of cyber attacks against the west as a lever in improving Russia’s own relative standing.

Why do you think he wouldn’t do so? American sponsors the same cyberattacks on Iranian and North Korean entities.

The Expert Determination data would likely be released to you with an agreement that you would not attempt to re-identify the data. So if you then attempted to re-identify the data, even yourself, you would be breaking the terms of the license and I would think liable to civil action from the entity that gave you the data (and their upstreams). I don't think you would win here.

If you have multiple macs for various jobs / personal / old ones. How do you keep the settings / environments in sync? Are there any tools to help with this?

I have a few basics that I want on everything: - mouse and keyboard settings - magnet window manager with hot keys - standard git + bash alias / configurations - custom tool bar - pinned/hidden applications

Right now I just set everything up the same way and manage changes across all of them. For the git/bash stuff I have a personal github repo that I can pull -> run to reset.

Is there a way to automate this? I can't really configure a full-fledge MDM given I don't own some of these.

Would like to hear if anyway has any similar problems / solutions

I would say what we really care about is Sensitivity and Specificity rather than a confusion matrix, given the confusion matrix is a function of the actual positive incidence rate of the population tested and consequently a problematic measure in this case.
