The statement being made is not "HN doesn't love blogs".
The statement being made is "Very anti-HN thinking to be posted here."
Rather than present useless analogies, engage with what's actually been presented. I didn't ask about your grandmother.

Is this not just reinventing the utmost basic portfolio website of quarter of a century ago? Are people not already doing this with cheap or even free turn-key templates? Could probably have an LLM excrete one in minutes.
I get daily outreach from fly-by-night operations in other countries using LLMs and templates to crap out the above, complete with client logos and project examples that don't belong to them. Where is the "proof"?
If you're aiming at devs, why would they use this over the likes of GitHub Pages or Cloudflare Pages?

I'd be content with even a browser extension in LibreWolf to style specific email threads, and past and future emails from specific senders as chat bubbles. Would need to strip the signatures of course. I find email threads really laborious to parse with lots of short messages from family members in group threads versus skimming through chat bubbles. Each sender would need a user-configurable chat bubble colour too.
I'm sure someone could probably vibe code a FOSS repo for this in an afternoon if it's as capable as the average comment here seems to claim (hasn't been my experience, but would love to solve a problem and be proven wrong).

As a Jew, I take great issue with calling this a "Holocaust" as not only is it inaccurate, it diminishes the meaning of the word for describing the state-sponsored murder of 6m+ Jews alone—and that's without even getting into the Romani Holocaust, disabled, gay community et al who were also murdered.
