I'd love to hear experiences of using Monica. I've been hesitant to try it out mostly due to my own ignorance of how to get existing data in there and get it into a usable state. But I love the concept.

New comment by happyrock in "Bring bathroom doors back to hotels"

happyrock — Thu, 27 Nov 2025 01:57:00 +0000

I stayed at one in Iceland where the entire bathroom wall facing the living room was unfrosted glass, including the door. The living room was open concept so it was hard to avoid seeing into the bathroom. Great place for couples to bring their entire selves to the relationship.

Ask HN: Experience with Wagtail CMS?

happyrock — Sun, 27 Nov 2022 01:51:32 +0000

I've been looking into using Wagtail for a simple website project. It seems mature, well-documented, Python/Django-based, but I haven't seen much in the way of personal recommendations or details about how people are using it and the pros/cons of the platform. Do you have any anecdotes you could share?
