This is beautiful. I wish one day I'll have to time for a project like that. Looking forward to buying it on Steam.

10 minutes sounds like a very long time. Maybe I'm using it differently but I don't see those wait times. I give specific instructions, and use pro plans, and the turnaround is fast.

The example in the video was a generation of a dashboard app of some sort. I can do that with a "normal speed" Claude in a few minutes. The difference is a few minutes. This is compared to a few weeks in old school development time. I don't have a problem with taking it a little "slow" (as in - few minutes) and lending my thought to it rather than just going for fast generation and who knows what's inside. I get your use case, but this is a specialised one, and not the one 90% of people will think of - everyone want that fast app in 12 seconds... Or so it seems from me being downvoted on that comment.

A few things in life I can't fully grasp why they are so sought after. One is that constant need to exhibit growth. As if being massive and staying as massive is not good enough, one has to always and continuously grow. The other is constant speed increases. We're already operating at 50x speed. My output is much wider and so much faster, I am sometimes my own bottleneck. And now as if that is not enough we want more speed. "I want a full software product from scratch in 12 seconds, Because 5 minute is too long and I got things to do..."
Really?

Not on those terms. Nobody wants to pay through the nose and see a return in a decade. We wouldn't be paying through the nose if we used our own gas instead of importing it. Crazy idea, I know...

To me, 7.5 years is not worth it. and the 1K in 20 years is nothing. This should be the standard and it should be free. Until then we'll keep paying through the nose for energy...

I enjoy the maintenance, doing what I can myself, trying to learn if I don't know. When the house was renovated (read rebuilt internally completely), we chose to stay in it during the works. It was fascinating.
And, houses (usually) increase in value. Some more than others.

People want importance. To feel, or more accurately, to show that they "Know". That they "Care". They are experts in this or that. They are this, they are that. Whatever it is they are "selling" or to whichever group they want to belong to - they play that part they conceive is theirs.
I love exercises like this - they expose this. Float it right up to the surface. It's poetic.

Because if you still need to read your code and understand it, it should be in a language you are comfortable with. And yes, you still need to read your code and understand it. If that's rust, good on ya. But if that's Python -good on ya too.

I find walking slowly quite difficult. I feel like I'm putting more effort to balance myself slowly and all in all it feels less stable than just "walking" at a moderate to brisk rate. I wonder if this is the same category of problem just in reverse...

This is no that far fetched...
I don't think it's that common that a customer sits on the fence and says "If only company X had Y on their feature list I'll be a paying customer". So the speed at which the company now runs through its roadmap does not equate to new customers joining.

I was minutes from ordering my 4th Thinkpad X1 when I found out about them. Although the Starfighter is a bit too big and heavy for me they also have the Horizon model which is exactly what I'm looking for - if only it came in 64GB ram option and a newer CPU (the former - not yet, the latter is coming soon). In any case, they made me decide to hold off and wait. If they do release a 64G Horizon model I'm all over it.

I've not built one, nor have I got a better solution than those offered here, but I did use a service like that before to transfer the contents of a storage unit from Romania to London. It was called clicktrans.com, and they do something similar. You say what you want to move from where to where, and people effectively send you offers. They are all vetted by the company, which charges them like 70 euro for the chance to bid on my delivery.

In that case, Wikipedia should not link to them (and even distance themselves from the edition) if they purposefully change the content of the article to suit a political agenda. The whole thing became a death match arena of factions as mature as 12 year old kids playing an actual death match arena game... This example here just demonstrates my point.
