It seems it's because OP is generating the whole screen every frame / every move. Of course that will give inconsistent results.
I wonder if this approach would work better:
1. generate the whole screen once
2. on update, create a mask for all changed elements of the underlying data
3. do an inpainting pass with this mask, with regional prompting to specify which parts have changed how
4. when moving the camera, do outpainting
This might not be possible with cloud based solutions, but I can see it being possible locally.

I've been playing games on Linux daily for years now (even AAA games like Cyberpunk 2077) and this is why I am still holding out on VR. I just don't want to be forced to go back to Windows just to play the games I want to play.
I'm waiting for Valve to maybe make a successor to Index with proper Linux support, but I'm not holding my breath.

> finite digital assets
That's a nice oxymoron you have there. Digital assets are not "finite" or scarce, that's their biggest strength: that they can be copied and shared infinitely. I know that some people hate that, and would love to change it (see DRM). But to hell with that.

On the contrary, I would recommend everyone to try and make a game engine. Through my teens and university years I tried many types (3D, 2D, visual novel...) and it's an awesome learning experience. Of course, for a real project that you want to actually finish, that's a different story

Protective gear was always uncool in street skateboarding. Vert (Tony Hawk's main discipline) was the exception. From what I understand it's about being counterculture, punk etc. Today even bowl riders mostly don't wear helmets or pads, and crashing in a concrete bowl is arguably even worse than on a wooden ramp.

When my wife was staying home with our son until he was 3yo, I got to write that into my tax returns and I got a tax bonus. A not working wife + a child = I didn't pay any tax and even got some money back from the government.
I'm not sure how it would work if we were not married. Would probably involve some more bureaucracy.
An of course, as you say, it's easier to handle child bureaucracy when married.
