<p>hmm, from what I have seen, $400k is usually their de-facto salary that gets junior folks (L4/E4) from F/G to make their top of market and move to NFLX. Beyond that, do you know how the comp progression is?</p>

<p>Do you have any links to confirm the latter?<p>From what I have been seeing, the number of both Indian/Chinese students coming to the US for studying has gone down post the Trump administration. Also, I am seeing more Indian/Chinese folks going back home due to increase in engineering wages/opportunities. Of course, it's still not comparable to US but plenty-enough to live a very good life-style back home.</p>

<p>Hmm, my experience with Lyft was slightly different. I went to past trips, clicked find lost item. The support reached out to the driver in 10 minutes and I had the driver at my door in a hour. Haven’t Lost an item with Uber though for comparison.</p>

<p>Usually the common stocks goes at a discount of around close to 15-20percent when compared to preferred for good deals. If the company is not doing well, the discount would be higher proportionally.</p>

<p>Most startups in SV though have a standard ROFR clause. So as long as you can find a buyer, you would get paid.<p>That being said, read the options agreement carefully and ensure your interests are well protected.</p>
