I'm not uninformed about cartel drug manufacturing and resulting American deaths. That's why we had to seal the border, and we need to keep enforcing it. But to send troops into a country that denies their entry is another thing.

I don't mind bombing the cartels from a distance. I'd rather the U.S. continues to pursue diplomatic options vs. war.

Wisconsin police used Flock travel history to locate an already wanted man and develop marijuana suspicion. An officer’s claimed marijuana odor led to a vehicle search.

Another ad posing as "science".

It's basically a Wafer/AMD advertisement.

B300 is about 46% faster for one stream and 65% faster in aggregate. AMD wins only after Wafer divides throughput // selected cloud-rental prices: $2.50/GPU-hour for MI355X versus $6 for B300.

Benchmarks are unreproducible, power costs are missing, ROCm was patched... and on and on.

Sure, it can serve that particular model at that particular size more economically. Good for them... in particular.

H100 export licensing restrictions began on August 26, 2022, under the Biden administration.

The CCP tried to promote their own chips, but later regressed and started allowing ByteDance, Alibaba, and Tencent to purchase more than 400,000 H200s. And they are trying to acquire millions.

Thus, export restrictions accelerated Chinese substitution, but also made that substitution slower, costlier, less scalable, and technically inferior to unrestricted Nvidia access.

And btw, yes it's an objective fact from every technical angle that the Chinese only have competitive models because of US tech. Why do you think they try so hard to smuggle NVIDIA GPUs, and now exposed infrastructure to create cheap imitations of American tech?
