On a recent episode of the All In podcast, one of the hosts made a remark along the lines of "in the future [when AI has replaced the knowledge worker], insatiable demand will exist for people who are experts in querying NLPs." I think we're seeing that here.

In large-ish meetings (3+ attendees), I usually turn off my camera (and mute my mic) when I'm not the one talking. For less formal meetings I might relax this. But, in general, I've found that keeping cameras and mics on at all times usually derail meetings.

This is my thought as well. I get the "make productive engineers even more productive" angle, but productive engineers' bottleneck isn't coding. Sure, coding up a boilerplate Go web server is tedious, but I have done it so many times that it takes me two seconds now.
On the flip side, coding can be the bottleneck for the worst kind of coder. When I first started coding, coding was hard simply because I had very little reps and was just learning to understand how to code common solutions, data structures, libraries, etc. Fast forward a few years and, if I were still struggling to understand these concepts, Copilot is a lifeline.

I had a similar experience after switching companies (to remote) last year. Work computer has no personal accounts/services. iPhone (and personal Mac) has no work accounts/services. No Slack, calendars, etc. I made it clear up-front that I am not available before 8AM and after 5PM M-F, but very available during work hours. Best decision I ever made!

A large majority of tweets come from a small minority of tweeters: roughly 10% of tweeters account for roughly 80% of all tweets on the platform [1].
[1] https://www.pewresearch.org/internet/2019/04/24/sizing-up-tw...
