There was a time when I had to goto the bank in person during business hours and interact with a teller. There was zero chance of getting hacked, the tellers knew me, and I had to live a more intentional life. Perhaps business hours for a website means real people are there actively monitoring its security and activity.

Accessibility wise, for those people with impaired vision, a larger mouse cursor obscures the tool tip text making it unreadable.

Have an original IBM PC sitting here. It has a 5 pin DIN plug on the back to connect a casette tape drive. I also recall BASICA.COM on diskette leveraged the BASIC routines in the original ROM, so it was about 1/3 the size of GWBASIC.EXE.

I'd recommend adding fuses. One between the panel and charge controller, and one on V+ to the battery.

Yes, you can still access newsgroups through Google, just search for your favorite group, e.g. comp.lang.lisp.

I recall using some open source Delphi software that allowed auto reload of an ISAPI.DLL just by replacing the DLL in the folder. That saved an iisreset. Never got a chance to thank the technical wizard that created that.

Canadian here, please use USPS when sending us stuff because they don't charge a $40 made up customs handling fee at the door like Fedex and UPS do.
