Pixel art is art. To be good at pixel art requires the same skills as art: composition, color, lights and shadow, shapes.
While there’s no shortcut, I would suggest that in games, consistency in art style is way more important than quality. If you can make your graphic style consistent, although maybe very simple and not so aesthetic, it will make the game appealing.

I think IMO art is about conveying human ideas/emotions that’s beyond words. So it’s more about what the artist intentionally or unintentionally brought into the piece. With AI “art”, it’s just filling noise into the original prompt. In that case, why don’t you just show me the prompt instead of the noisy lossy “art” piece?

To my knowledge, sadly I can't find an English version of it. I'm too wishing for a future English version so that I can read it. But I guess it will be a lot of work to translate it into English.

For anyone who is interested, the author of this diagram also made a Linux disk I/O diagram (https://zenodo.org/records/15234151). These diagrams are from his book Operativni sustavi i računalne mreže - Linux u primjeni (https://zenodo.org/records/17371946)
Shout out to the brilliant and generous work of the author!
