It is still in active development and before v1. They haven't decided to make it unstable on purpose it's simply not done yet.

Anyone using it right now implicitly accepts that they'll have to keep track of the changes in the language and update their code accordingly.

I see it this way, the full signature for defining a variable is:

    var foo: Foo = Foo{};

There's two ways to shorten it:

    var foo = Foo{};
    var foo: Foo = .{};

It can infer the type of the var from the right hand side; or the type of the right side from the type of the var.

So when you see .{} as an argument, it is inferring the type from the function signature. It happens to be empty only because it's using default values (or is a tuple with 0 items).

Funny you mention ghostty since they use a lot of AI, but they review and make sure they understand every line.

There should be some way to measure (and display) how much of a project is understood by the humans behind it.

Yandex also censors political things. Your best bet is to search everywhere because everyone is "compromised" from some side.

Yandex seems to be better at image reverse search. Maps is the only one I still use Google for.

How can the browser execute git commands from opening a local html file? Maybe if you give the file a different extension and configure an application to run a webserver and open the default browser when the file is double-clicked?

Single compiles for sure. Where Zig is optimizing compilation is in the incremental compiler, which I've seen compile the compiler itself in an instant after a single line change. Of course, that kind of speed is probably not interesting to some people if the AI is writing tons of lines of code before they go to the compilation step.
