Well if you look at how Feds has being pumping money into Musk's bank account and what brought down the SVB, then $60B may not be that much. At this point as the country that can prints/(adjust db ledger) $60B is nothing.

yeah, nepotism has always being around, it is just more obvious now, before one would need laundry money through some what seemly acceptable foundations.

Volla is one that comes to mind. Ubuntu touch, it is German, but there should be more coming. Not really advertising them, but should be more that is coming.
Why bother with iOS and Android?

Well they can, but isn't debian and freebsd on mobile here now? I know they are rough around the edges, but who still cares about Android or iOS in the long run? If I can run my mobile device with root access using debian or freebsd, why still bother with Google and Apple?

with GPU finger printing cookies are least of my concern now days. Cookies are about as good as a web session it should be discardable if needed.
Yeah but once the attacker get access to the JS they can do whatever. That is why stop using CDN for your jquery or react libs!

>I don't have hard data on this, but I think it's fair to say their generation's overall exposure to toxins was much greater. DEET, smoking, leaded petrol, asbestos and coal power stations seem much worse than the occasional McFlurry.
Don't forget petro wast such as plastic. It is amazing that we are still a live.

The question is can I self-host this "mech suit"? If not, I would much not use some API hosted by another party.
Saas just seems very much like a terminator seed situation in the end.

Even worse!!! What is consider art work now days are whatever that can be made on some vector based program. This really also stifles creativities, pigeonholing what is consider creative or art work into something can be used for machine learning.
Whatever can be replaced by AI will, cause it is easier for business people to deal with than real people.

One that comes to mind is a participatory budgeting game much like SimCity. The game let locals to actually do their own budgets based on local info. Some much economically can be optimized if all locals knows about how the money are spend.
Of course something like that would really take control out of hands of ones on top at the budget committees in DC and fees for their friends.
Decentralization will generate much much more wealth for most people, but it will take control away from a few that are in control.
