<p>This is fear that humans will stop software development. Think about it, the backbone of modern enterprise is open source. What if maintainers just stopped, the free ride big tech has had would be left with the slop the maintainers have to deal with now. Which without checks and balances would introduce vulnerabilities.</p>

<p>All software has trade offs. The “for you” feed is ran on a home server, this is already imho a better situation than other systems. This could be cut off. But it could also be stood up again.</p>

<p>> This isn't putting anyone out of work. The games simply would not be made in the first place.<p>The opposite is also true. Games that should never be made are being made due to the rubbish that can be generated by these tools. Observe the generated samples on the landing page, they are literally just copying street fighter. These tools are so useless without ripping off the hard work of humans. The deluge of slop is a signal to noise problem.</p>

<p>This is the business. I highly recommend this solution. Streaming queries via duckdb or polars will use little to memory and be lightning fast for very large datasets.</p>
