Between another statement you’ve made here (about how the Democratic Socialists of America want to abolish democracy) and this one, you don’t have much credibility. I am Canadian and would prefer we follow any path other than any you have espoused.

This sentence doesn’t make sense so I may be reading it wrong. But in sunlight the red LED is totally invisible. It’s too bad because they’re genuinely a good idea for me but I feel like a creep for even considering a pair.

There are a few novel ones but I’ve been seeing most of them in my logs for longer than generative AI has existed. This isn’t remotely new, the vector is just getting bigger.

I get that it’s fashionable to hate big companies but you’re working overtime here. It’s reasonable to assume that a bug was fixed when reported. And if you think your monitoring is 100%, you don’t know what you’re talking about.

If you consider that incompetence, it’s possible that you’re not a very nice person.

Are you doing a survey for customer discovery purposes? This sure sounds like it… but if you are why not just disclose that and be open about it? I don’t like the ethical leap that you made to do this. Why should I trust your product if you don’t care enough to tell the truth about your questions?

I don’t see the sliding scale - if the website didn’t want a bot they could have blocked you. They clearly don’t mind so what’s the issue? You still used a bot.

This is a whole lot of things you want and feel entitled to. Nobody has to cater to you - we can block whatever we want to block. And if our poorly designed sites bother you, that’s too bad for you. But your wants are not my problem. If you want someone to cater to you, pay them. You aren’t entitled to anything.
