FastMail support has been great, I think the developers themselves reply (some of the?) emails, going into technical details and being actually helpful.

In short: you can’t have an interactive popover (e.g. a toast notification) on top of a dialog modal.

I’d love to use the new native elements but we’re sadly not quite there yet.

The filenames were there but they couldn't be opened anymore and seemed corrupt. Since then I never trusted iCloud anymore and switched to Syncthing (which back then also messed up some of my data if I recall correctly) and then Nextcloud.
