I think new norms will develop around this behavior - it's rude to show someone else your AI output, and I think long term that will be broadly recognized.

I don't think that's true. I find Crockford's argument compelling that js is misunderstood and that the core of the language is a diamond in the rough.

The idea at the turn of the century is that Java Applets would be the way web applications would be developed. That was a disaster for security, ux, etc.

js is pretty lispy. Crockford is pretty compelling that the reason js survived (and beat Java which was the heir apparent) is because of the attributes it inherited from Scheme.

You're forgetting that labor activists are also motivated by profit, which is not necessarily aligned with interests of labor themselves. As we've seen from the social and news media, it's relatively easy to a make people angry and jealous without improving their lives at all.

Fanfic would imply that the work is non-canon, wouldn't it? The bible represents some of the earliest arguments about what is canon.

The NIV changed their interpretive philosophy around the turn of the century to favor gender neutral language. Most churches switched to ESV at that point.
