I want to say this out loud. The third layer of the agentic stack has been misnamed. if you call it the context layer like Harrison Chase from LangChain then what you have is a retriever, but if you call it evidentiary then you can build something completely unique.
Cleanly, there is convergence here across projects that are unrelated. This is signalling that the need is real to have a witness present in the agentic layer. I have shipped both parts together with lotor and now you can create what i am calling load-bearing memories. This allows it to display lived experience through it's evidentiary learning.
Think like a guild. you go and train somewhere, create load on your self and is measured in the bones. That has become part of the entity that went through the training. it is it through learned experience, not weights or the harness or even context. it is the spine that is now forming ligaments, tissue, joints, etc. that can support the brain and hands and remember atomically exactly where it was at.
Am i wrong?

I created a witness that uses a wire protocol to route the data private first. I'm developing it out in the open with a known limits file and a confession board where you can contribute to the tool on issues that have not been solved. I want this to be built out in the open because it's the only way we can all trust this.
Additionally, there are concerns on custody of the record. Let me explain a couple paths forward.
Small MSP who are already compliant to hold records and are not a major player. this is new territory and no company can audit itself so there's no sense in assigning this security role to someone who exists.
There's anchoring on OpenTimeStamps, which is the way i released AIP, we don't need a need decentralized blockchain, we have one and we can verify through there for anything that should to be public. and there are others such as identity binding (KYC, etc)
Finally, there's so many signals sounding right now that this product needs to be. The biggest names in tech are forming a safety collision... that's self-attestation and that's bs. We deserve better and it's not a solve the tech giants truly can do.
There are so many benefits to having your own receipt as well. You get to put barriers, hooks, and actions at every point something crosses a gate... a gate you can establish because you've have the measurements of the agents space it can operate. You get shared memory across sessions, not owned by them. You get to optimize you're own workflow, you can show proof as a consultant that you didn't touch sensitive client data and if you did, there is a signed receipt.
Thanks for visiting and listening to me

that's true. i think that if it's obvious that the audit is finding everything, every detail, every file, piece of data touched.... at what level do we need to verify?
