Then I guess the extermination of the wolverines, passenger pigeons, american eagle, american buffalo, etc exemplifies what? The evils of capitalism? The evils of democracy? Not to mention the extermination of the native americans...
What's with all the deranged and obvious propaganda here? Your 'kid' really couldn't sleep for 2 night or did you make it up to push silly propaganda?

> At least Musk's core business isn't spyware.
Tesla, Starlink, Solar, etc are all spyware. I guess SpaceX isn't quite spyware but it most definitely is a state sponsored company.
Tesla has traded like it is google 2.0 for the past decade or so. I don't think investors are enamored with tesla cars necessarily.

The concept of truth has always been fuzzy when it comes to politics. When was there are stable time for the concept of truth in politics? The entire political system of ads, media, speeches, etc are full of misrepresentations, outright lies or lies by omission.
I guess washingtonpost is upset because historically it was the job of washingtonpost, foxnews, msnbc, nytimes, etc to destabilize the concept of truth. But they shouldn't fret. They should view AI as a tool rather a competitor.

> Learn how to read context before sperging out lol.
I did. That's why I quoted your entire comment in my response : "Animus between China and US is a recent thing, like post 2015."
> Nixon visited China just a few years after Singapore became independent.
You mean the anti-china warhawk nixon who made his name railing against china in the 50s and 60s? Are you talking about that nixon?
> Post 2015 is when animosity starts and now US is encouraging divestment from China.
Except US investment in china INCREASED under trump... Also how stupid do you have to be to bring nixon into this and claim the animus started post 2015?

> Eating more and exercising more (and the energy required to keep your core temperature up) might kill you faster, maybe through free radical production from metabolism.
There's a theory that it's actually heartbeats. Most animals have about 1.5 billion heartbeats.
"The reason an elephant lives longer than a shrew is not because its heart beats longer. It's because its heart beats slower.
> What they take has been proven to be far greater value than what they gave. It isn't a fair "trade", at all.
Sure it is. As long as it wasn't coerced.
> To be fair to China, corrupt locals allowed it to happen.
I have a feeling that any trade with china or anything that helps poor countries progress is 'corrupt' to you. But then again, you push so much ant-china shilling, I recognize you just from your username.
If china is taking so much for so little, why isn't europe or the US swooping in and offering a better deal?
> Geography was pretty much the only thing we had going for us.
Geography is important but so was singapore's chinese connections. Singapore's rise is tied to china's opening and economic rise. Singapore and Hong kong's ability to leverage their chinese ties and serve as imtermediaries between china and their colonial masters allowed them to get wealthy. The singaporean leadership was able to win the trust of the chinese and their 'former' colonial masters. Given the animus between China and the US, it was quite the achievement.
