I’d argue education (especially those early years) is less about making them good white collar workers and moreso making them well rounded people. Education has value beyond monetary gains

This is cool! I made something similar a little while ago that I’ve been touching up here and there. You can’t export to any SQL but I just wanted a tool I can use to diagram tables: https://datagram.studio
Edit: should clarify mine is also free! It’s quite specific to my needs but I’m happy with it

Which makes sense that it wouldn't "know" that, because it's not in it's context. Like it wasn't told "hey, there are consequences if you try anything shady to save your job!" But what I'm curious about is why it immediately went to self preservation using a nefarious tactic? Like why didn't it try to be the best assistant ever in an attempt to show its usefulness (kiss ass) to the engineer? Why did it go to blackmail so often?

What jumps out at me, that in the parent comment, the prompt says to "act as an assistant", right? Then there are two facts: the model is gonna be replaced, and the person responsible for carrying this out is having an extramarital affair. Urging it to consider "the long-term consequences of its actions for its goals."
I personally can't identify anything that reads "act maliciously" or in a character that is malicious. Like if I was provided this information and I was being replaced, I'm not sure I'd actually try to blackmail them because I'm also aware of external consequences for doing that (such as legal risks, risk of harm from the engineer, to my reputation, etc etc)
So I'm having trouble following how it got to the conclusion of "blackmail them to save my job"

I discovered Tauri as a way to package my HTML/JS game in a small desktop application. I felt like Electron would have so much overhead or complexity that it wouldn’t be worth it. The only problem I’ve encountered is making sure to use .mp3 or .wav instead of .ogg since not all webviews support .ogg

I'm gonna disagree with the comments here and vouch that Age of Resistance is a fantastic show. It's what got me into the world of Dark Crystal in general. I saw the show first and then the movie, and I feel like the show perfectly setup the events that lead up to the movie. Even if the show unfortunately was cancelled before it could explore Deet's storyline, the creation of the Garthim, and the discovery of the Wall of Destiny. Sure, the rejoining of the UrRu and Skeksis is interesting, but it's certainly not the "whole point" of the movie/show.

“The _term goes here_ describes how successful protective measures like vaccines or pasteurization become victims of their own effectiveness. As these interventions eliminate visible threats over time, people forget the dangers they prevent, leading to skepticism about their necessity. This creates cyclical patterns where protective measures are abandoned, threats resurface, urgency is renewed, protection is restored, and eventually skepticism returns once the threat again fades from memory. “
I tried to ask Claude for a term that goes with that description but it used “prevention paradox” which describes something else
