What’s the word for trying to do cluster analysis on what is actually randomly distributed data? The games do have obvious similarities and sometimes refer to each other, but they’re independent events.

I’ve come to think that’s really more of a symptom than a cause. People more and more seem to have brains made of old dry wood. The lack of education, propaganda, ads, attention problems, electoral disaster and everything else in this metaphor is like the termites who crawl in and dig holes in it; they wouldn’t be there if the tree hadn’t fallen to decay.

While I wait for my mail in ballot to be delivered, which is taking a suspiciously long time, while the President, who has already ben impeached for one visible and overt coup attempt, has specifically ordered the USPS not to deliver them on either side, this is a good place to note to you, that he has also declared anyone who doesn’t call it super intelligence to be THE ENEMY, in all caps.

If it really is formalized, it seems like the exact ideas would be able to be translated to and from any other sufficiently capable language without gaining or losing anything.

What I think this was intended to say was that a lot of nonsense work can be done by AI, so let’s eliminate the nonsense work. Valid, but consider that you may be protected too by the amount of paperwork it takes to hurt someone.

You know, if an old city with a natural boundary doesn’t think you should build a bunch of profitable crap in it, maybe you could take the hint and stop acting like you’re bringing Jesus to them. San Francisco’s seen the conquistadors. In fact, many of the streets in the Sunset are named after them.

Are you sure? A UI based on instant gratification? Seeing everything simply blink into place instantly might not be as fun as you think after the newness wears out.

Anyway, if you really want to, you can emulate old OSs with a very fast modern computer. Some emulators even bridge the network and file system to support enough that you can really live in it.

These shouldn't even exist without a negotiated contract.

I can subscribe to your service for a specific fee on a monthly basis ($20/month say), and take the risk of losing that month's fee if your service or I make mistakes, or I can choose to drop another $20 mid-month, or anything for convenience.

Saying that the computer will "control" the billing and can run haywire tells me that I don't want to be anywhere near your pile of bad incentives.
