Okay, I had the problem going the other way. I assumed the n was a symbol on the previous number, like an f suffix in C. But even still, 2^(0.6039n) could have been rendered in a nice way stripping out the parenthesis, leaving the core text mathematically correct.

For those who don’t have math extensions in the browser, if that is 2^0.6039, then why don’t math extensions just detect math syntax and style it directly?

What’s wrong with this idea, really? It’s redundant because you can serve HTML to requests with Apache or Ngnix or any other server on the happy path.

What’s right with the idea, really? It’s exactly what the tried and true preferences of developers have been shown to be: getting in the way of the happy path for no reason.

Now you can have build steps and put story points in Jira and do it all on the server where we don’t have to see it, and the success condition is that the text gets served. Both sides can be happy now.

That’s a good point. We associate the classic UI controls with forms that are submitted by another action. Autosaving controls have a slightly different function and feel.

SMM calls for a timeout because it wants everything to be between instructions pro forma. So there’s a very long instruction on a core, but after it completes, the core does stop, right? It seems like to make this into an attack you’d have to a very long instruction that also somehow interacts with the thing the SMM is doing, while it’s doing it.

Saying No is a skill you have to jump in and develop to get good enough at it to be responsible for others. It’s okay to say No for yourself, but keep in mind the other party may have a lot of practice saying No themselves.

I’m not sure if you mean a good look for the process or for the author but paging space is just saying “gimme a gigabyte” like saying “gimme a plate” is at a barbecue. The resources themselves aren’t being used at that point.

I didn't say I found no utility, it could have tons of utility, but technology changes over time. Perhaps the gentleman author could have produced a desktop Electron app or something similar running locally.

So I had to copy-paste my source code into a web site, submit, then copy-paste the text back out into my document? I'm not putting down the work the author did, but that workflow was always going to be completely obsolete at some point.

You're still not quite getting it, the statement isn't that trivial. It deals with the area between totally collinear (obviously impossible to find a lonely pair) and totally non-collinear (obviously impossible not to find a lonely pair).

First of all, the syntax is very generic and conservative. I’m extremely positive about that. It just looks like C or Typescript or Java to me and I don’t see mysterious diacritical marks.

The next thing is, I need more examples. Read me documents can scroll forever and that’s fine. Add examples for every concept your language wants to cover to it. This is your chance to think things through and make the read me and the language astonishing.

And your AI disclaimer (or your AI’s disclaimer) makes sense.

Math is like that. But try to put any number of points in some configuration where you can't find some line with only two on it. In this diagram, you can't do an axis-aligned line with more or less than three -- but you can go diagonal and cross only two points. There's always a way to find only two points.

His statement helped me. It's not that every three points are non-collinear, it's that any three points are non-collinear. A set of points all lying on a line is the only exception; you can have every point lying on a line except for one, or two, or whatever you want. In a square grid of sixteen points, there are lots of sets of four collinear points for example, but not all sixteen, and that's what counts.

So the theorem proves that no matter which way you arrange any finite set of points, except for all on the same line, then you can always find a line with exactly two points.

I can't make out the point here (no pun). Of course a line can pass through any two points. It could pass through three if those points were collinear but the statement says they're not. So what is the new fact?

You know, you can just use the iPad as a separate display for macOS. Once I tried this, I realized it doesn’t make sense to use menus and windows without the mouse, and then you’ve invented…laptops.
