This all sounds insane. If it requires so much back and forth with the AI why on earth wouldn't you just write the code yourself? At least then you build the mental model of the code and keep your brain healthy. Reading the comments in here about all the hoops people are having to jump through just to do the same thing they were doing a year ago without AI... and spending a fortune to do it! I think you've all got AI psychosis.

Hasn't all automation up to this point been same input equals same output though? Automation using LLMs feels different to anything before and I don't think there's a comparative time in history to point at and say "look it happened before and we are now better off"

At some point there really won't be enough jobs and massive social change will happen. It has to surely? Don't call me Shirley. In star trek WW3 had to happen before the better society emerged. I think a large scale wipe out and cleaning of the slate is inevitable. What happens in a world where people who have spent so much time and effort and money to get educated and establish a career are suddenly worthless and penniless? Nothing good I suspect!

It's not worth fighting it at work. If the idiots you work for want everything vibe coded and delivered at 5 * 2025 speed then just vibe code and try to leave the company ASAP. That's where I am right now. Of course I might end up somewhere just as ridiculous or maybe not be able to even find another job. Shitty times we live in right now.

>It's the people who do the most work to keep humanity moving forward.
How do you define "moving forward"? Just having more people?
What a strange person you seem to be to think that moms are better than non moms simply because they are moms. You seem to have a child's view of the world

That's not really true. One would like it to be, but it's not. We are taught to worship biological mothers in society so that people keep having kids and thus feeding the tax collector, military machine, cleaning toilets etc. Take veterans for example- we put them on a pedestal so that more kids sign up to feed the meat grinder in the hope of having a "veteran" car sticker one day.
