This could not be more wrong. Meta is still using PHP AFAIK but I'm not sure it's modern. They created the Hack programming language ~10 years ago but it doesn't look like it's been updated in several years. Most of the improvements they touted were included in PHP 7 years ago.

Laravel 3 and Laravel 4 were released in ~2012. The upgrade from Laravel 4 to 5 (released Oct 2013) is probably the biggest hurdle, but you can likely upgrade from Laravel 5 to Laravel 12 in a week or sooner with Laravel Shift.

They charge 10% (or at least they did ~10 years ago, probably higher now) and require you maintain a 30% reserve and then they use that money to continue to lobby Visa/MC to prevent competition.

Similarly if you seized 100% of the wealth of the top 400 Americans[0] and liquidated all of their assets to cash, then you'd have ~$5.4T (assuming you didn't completely destroy the economy in the process, which you would but for the sake of the argument assume you wouldn't), which is around 15% of the US Public Debt OR about 3 years worth of the U.S. Budget Deficit.

Hot take but XP is only remembered fondly in this community because it was the dominant operating system from 2001 through 2011 on consumer devices that were likely purchased as first or second generation home computers for millenials that are approaching their first 25 year retrospective.

In the case of a Federal Grand Jury subpoena, the Government will request a delayed notification of 1 or 2 years to prevent the service provider (i.e. Google) from notifying you. A subpoena only provides generalized records and not content. So things like billing information, login records, etc.. are fair game. The government is required to obtain a search warrant for actual data (i.e. your emails). Typically, Google will not notify you about executed search warrants against your account.
