My friend is a mechanical engineer and most of his time is spent in CAD and then writing some documentation.

Genetic engineering will be our only hope precisely because modern medicine is disregarding our evolution. Lots of bad mutations are being passed down because we can treat them, which of course allows people to live a good life.

This whole post sounds like you don’t have control of your life. Why do you need to find an excuse to do things you want to do?

Commit to a workout routine, commit to getting food or learning to cook to save money, commit to some mindful exercises to have more focus

This still exists officially btw, migrants need to be at a certain level in IELTS and have no criminal records to get a migrant visa. And if you get any criminal conviction during the visa, you can get deported or be blacklisted from getting citizenship down the line.

Not for me, the user experience for Linux based PCs hasn’t changed in 10 years. That is it still not as good as as macOS.

In general I like ML based syntax, but Haskell using type signatures really helps read code easier. Wish other languages would adopt them

lol judging from this post, my MBP m1 is pretty much better than my desktop 3900x...

Not disappointed! The only time the fan even spun up was when I built nodejs from source (which took 10mins). And even then it ran at like ~10% fan speed or something.
