Nothing is "free market" about a current system.

• You're forced to buy health insurance.

• You can't choose any doctor you like one you have the insurance.

• You can't shop around for the best price, because the prices are not shown.

• You're not given an estimate of how much a procedure would cost.

• You can't choose which doctors visit your hospital room (and every time they do, you pay for it).

I call BS. Bitcoin's trading volume has been between $20 and $50 billion USD per day (in the last year).

Tether's total valuation is $19.4 billion. It's a drop in the bucket.

As someone who interviewed ~60 people for senior JS and LAMP positions, good luck with these questions. When I was assigned to do interviews, I assembled a somewhat similar list of questions, but we quickly learned that we will never hire anybody like that. I'm sure there are unicorns out there capable of acing these questions without the internet, but they all work for googles of the world.

Yeah, but Stadia Maps aren't that good. They have really bizarre issues with labeling. For instance, they would display "Bridgeport", but not "New York" at some zoom levels. And Long Island looks completely disconnected, and Manhattan is missing altogether.

Well, if you're good, there's a good chance they will hire you and convert you to H-1B. But you need to have work experience. You can work up to 20 hours/week on campus on F-1, so go talk to your IT department, explain you want to work.

Have they solved the distributed routing problem? I watched many videos on the LN, and it's never addressed, it's always this hand-wavy explanation that a route is somehow found, on a network that changes, potentially, thousands of times per seconds, and has tens of millions of nodes.

It's more of a gap between the educated in the useful fields vs everyone else. And it's not going anywhere. The people who don't have the capacity to learn complex and useful things are left behind in our quickly accelerating world.

There were 75K albums (not just songs) released in 2010 alone. The total number of songs is in hundreds of millions.

No way you can fit their fingerprints and the metadata into 64GB, compressed or not.

Shazam has 40M fingerprints in their DB, and they definitely don't have everything. Their software runs on beefy servers.
