To open a website you don't need anyone's consent apart from yours and the web server's.

It still deserves to be fixed.

A GUI that lists all the available options is much more user-friendly than a YAML configuration file where you have to guess them or pore over documentation before starting, but even Jenkinsfile syntax looks better than YAML, and Groovy is a real (edit: realer) language that, in theory, can have things like syntax highlighting and auto-completion.

You don't have to follow the rules. If openSUSE says you have to be over 16 to use their website, but you're not over 16, you can still use their website. They aren't actually stopping you.

Show HN: I made an IPv6 proxy for GitHub

Since everyone always complains about IPv6-only servers not being able to reach GitHub, I fixed that.

You can use this simple service I made to access GitHub through IPv6, and you don't need to have IPv4 on every server or set up your own proxy server.

You have the choice of using the proxy explicitly by its own address, or adding it to your hosts file to connect transparently through it. Since you're connecting to the real GitHub by a different address, there are no certificate errors.
