I did a lot of coding for these in the UK during early 2000s.

They were pretty nifty for their time, but I guess completely superseded by RFID.

Always annoyed me that it clearly has 2 wires (power/signal + ground).

  The loom is worthless because it:
   - does not produce novel weaves
   - is not aware that it is weaving
   - is made of bits of metal
   - does not understand cloth
   - is promoted by some people who were wrong before

This is a quick check to see if your browser (or child) has visited any concerning websites (or you forgot to clear your history!).
