this is bad developer UX ( in my opinion). Please reconsider . I lost interest the moment I was not able to commit using normal git commands.

  ⎿ Error: Exit code 1

GITBUTLER_ERROR: Cannot commit directly to gitbutler/workspace branch.

GitButler manages commits on this branch. Please use GitButler to commit your changes:
       - Use the GitButler app to create commits
       - Or run 'but commit' from the command line

If you want to exit GitButler mode and use normal git:
       - Run 'but teardown' to switch to a regular branch
     … +5 lines (ctrl+o to see all)

but was not installed ( I installed the mac app ) .
I still haven't uninstalled the app and will try to figure out the working model.
Also please offer some skill file or a text I can add to my CLAUDE.md / AGENTS.md so that when I ask claude to commit , it will go through gitbutler...( edit: looks like it is there, but the discovery is hard ) .

I tried Claude Code and gave it very clear instructions to build a web based tool I wanted to build over the weekend. It did exactly that ! sure, there were some minor modifications I had to make, but it completed over 80% of the work for me.
As for the app itself, it included a simple UI built on React with custom styling and real-time support using WSS . I provided it with my brand colors and asked it to use chadcn. It also includes a Node.js-based backend with socket.io and puppeteer. I even asked it to generate a Dockerfile and Kubernetes manifests. It almost did a perfect job—the only thing I had to fix manually was updating my Ingress to support WSS.
After studying the K8s manifests, I learned a bunch of new things as well..
spent around $6 for this session and I felt that it was worth it.

Yeah with the added advantage of reduced latency.
The system I worked on had a CRUD application which was in Django , ultimately the rules was stored in a Redis.. The ad serving application was in golang that connected to this local redis instances that were replicas of the central redis..
https://redis.io/docs/latest/commands/replicaof/

well, redis manages the replication without fuss. Unless the framework / language one uses supports it out of the box, there is no point in re implementing replication.
https://www.erlang.org/docs/17/reference_manual/distributed

I tried a similar approach with a team I was working with. We were building it on top of redis and after some basic benchmarks gave up the idea and figured out from the docs that that eval script is blocking.
