I didn’t realize the scale of data centers in northern Nevada. Residential customers will mostly pay 70% for the transmission line costs. 12 data centers by 2033 with 5,900 MW of power.

“NV Energy is building Greenlink West, a 525-kV, $4.2 billion transmission line from Las Vegas to Yerington, expected online in May 2027. Schwarzrock said Liberty would be “first in the waiting line” when Greenlink opens, giving it access to a wider pool of energy providers. But that timeline matches the contract deadline exactly, leaving almost no margin for error. About 70% of the project’s costs will be borne by Southern Nevada customers. But this is nothing new, at least according to NV Energy.”

Management chased every quarter with little care about the long term future.

Took their profits and ran to other low cost airlines like frontier to make them ultra low cost per friends in the industry.

Spirit tried to merge a few times but failed due to their balance sheets. Then bankruptcy protections.

Follow the price of oil and airlines run into issues during those times when it goes above $100.

Time, production capacity, and materials. I’ve seen 1yr lead times on electric equipment to install charging stations. Copper supply issues with a huge rollout.

$150/barrel, much higher prices everywhere, less fertilizer, and less oil available could spur a faster turnover.

It could be a win-win for everyone and they inform him they will not enforce any non-competes.

They probably have proof in contracts that they agreed to this usage. They won’t alter the deal based on some bad press nor do they want to lose the DoD-DoW as a customer.

4.3kilos for the Hubbard variety at 56 days is pretty high. I wonder the percent make it to 56 days or they collect early.

Most I saw in US were running 3.4kilos avg at 51 days. If they make it to 53 days they usually have heart failure due to fast growth. Lots of breeding issues.
