Kiidk'yaas, also known as the Golden Spruce is an example.

The article conveniently links to a list of individual trees.

It would have been neat if they cooperatively updated the board meeting deck using the sensory activity board. The giant dial is similar to our Tonieplay.

New comment by interloxia in "An update on leaving Gmail for Fastmail"

interloxia — Tue, 18 Aug 2026 14:03:03 +0000

I want some sort of hybrid paid for by my fastmail sub. Something like a first party gpg on the happy path for anyone who uses fastmail and a wasm/whatever (if possible) web app link for keen buy not willing to pay email recipients.

I.e. my friends who are willing to share keys now and then but not actually pay for the service.

Otherwise I'm stuck with signal asking for donations forever / waiting for something to actually replace email.

They do? It's a common upsell for 50-100ish per flight leg.

The back reclines. The bum and legs don't move. My knees usually only just fit. When someone reclines their seat usually presses on my knees. Those few cm matter.

Sometimes the seat design is such that my knees block the recline. If I'm unlucky it sucks.

Up to about 15 years ago, Sure. Now you're mostly out of luck unless you pay.

Sometimes. My Bosch washing machine died young due to cheap bearings. The AEG dryer had soldering problems and the German dishwasher's time light projector died slowly.

My old Sony xz2c's USB C port wore out after about three years use. About the same length of time they bothered to update Android. :/

Any feedback from different locations or cultural groups?

One group's expectation of interruption for pleasant conversational flow can be just as off-putting as another's expectation of patient silence.

That's how we end up with stolen generations of kids taken from parents.

It was bad and suggesting state violence for lack of compliance with your world view is bad.

Power monitoring is surprisingly effective. Open data is better but a few shelly/whatever devices works even for dumb devices.

I would argue that my old 4790K with dual channel ddr3 19200, at 10x power, is similar or better. That box lasted way longer than was reasonable.
