Mine was using VScode with copilot. Previously I had used tab completion and thought it was pretty neat. This time I began with the comment for a function I wanted to write. And the entire function just appeared below the comment. Written probably better than I would have. I remember saying, “uh-oh” out loud.

I've bought a Kinesis Advantage about every three years since 2003 (I think). Still the best keyboard out there despite being USB-A and the lack of bluetooth. I really want to like the Kinesis 360, but the lack of a function key row keeps me from buying one.

This is a market I wish I understood better.
If I understand this correctly, the target market is airlines that need to sell flights online and that don't have (or don't want) the staff to do it in house. According to Wikipedia, there are about 5,000 airlines currently. Large airlines seem unlikely to want to outsource this, but I'm guessing there aren't too many airlines that size (only about 300 use Sabre).
I wouldn't have thought there would be a market big enough for a startup like this, but I appear to be wrong. I'm guessing their biggest challenge will be customer acquisition. But as I said, this is a market I wish I understood better.

My local pizza place in Seattle has moved the technology the other way. Here’s the dialog when I call. “Pagliacci Pizza, how can I help you?”
“I’d like to order a pizza”
“Sure thing. Is this John Smith?”
“Yes”
“Do you still live at 1234 Main Street”
“Yes”
“Would you like to order the same thing you did last time?”
“Yes”
“Ok, it’ll be there in 20 minutes”
Even better, while you talk to the store you called, the order goes into some sort of pizza load balancer and gives the order to the least busy store with a good drive time to your house.
I’d seriously like to buy/have a beer for/with whoever designed it.

I mostly don't use Twitter, Facebook, or Reddit. I have reason to log into my Facebook account a few times a year. The only reason I log into Twitter is when I get a link to a Twitter thread, same with Reddit. I'm no paragon of restraint, I had to delete Universal Paperclip from my phone to quit playing it. I guess the easiest way to deal with any addiction is not to become addicted in the first place. Not great advice for people who are already addicted. . .
