Did go through it, bookmarked for use, that's how I learned about the command palette, just hard to break the habit of using zellij, that too with tmux mode :D

For me, speed, simplicity in configuration, and no AI is more or less a good start. I moved from iTerm to Warp recently, before switching to wezterm, and the only reason i dropped Warp (despite signing in) was that it comes in your way a lot, the click to focus on blocks becomes a hindrance for me (I hardly care for the previous blocks), the constant reminders in Red to update and obviously the AI prompting, albeit to the side, they keep trying to find a way for me to use it, but I'd rather stick with CTRL+R or quick google search than write a coherent sentence explaining things to a LLM.
I left iTerm because I couldn't configure it to my liking, although there are certainly ways to do it, i just couldn't. iTerm2 is certainly a good enough terminal, wezterm just somehow suits my needs better.

Thank you for this write-up! Going to copy a couple of things to my config. TIL, Wezterm has a command palette.
Wezterm with Zellij becomes amazing with how it just simply gets out of the way, even lets you remove window decorations entirely. I've heard Wezterm has a multiplexer too, but just haven't tried it.

Thanks for this response. Zed is awesome, haven't been able to switch to it full-time due to [1] https://github.com/zed-industries/zed/issues/5065, but do appreciate what's being built.
It's a new product, which is clearly seeing quick changes every week, so hopeful you'll get to this one soon. The internet will always be extreme around any issue, and make it seem like the end of the world, to those folks, maybe try zed again later? It's still a good editor to keep in mind.
Although one minor thing about this, getting users accustomed to this flow and then later asking for consent might also raise issues, like this one, just with a more "Zed now prompting for every little thing" in future. So might want to keep that in mind.
Loving zed for go development (especially with a decent suite of Vim bindings), just haven't been able to use things like Flutter , due to lack of debug support, which VSCode does quite well (albeit crashes a bunch).

Have been using go for 8 years now, and started with this. And to be quite honest, I still refer to this sometimes for quick lookup on certain things related to syntax, pools, waitgroups or channels. Beautifully done tutorial of Golang, can be done in a few hours and gets you a good base knowledge of the language.
To the creator, a sincere thank you!

Indian here, that may be true for outsourced customer support with no actual company folks intervening but rather giving guidelines and scripts, but the startups running for India (say Zomato, Swiggy etc), the support team tends to help a lot (once you manage to connect with them after the silly chatbot that's always useless, relinquishes control), their priority is much like the early days of amazon where customer success was everything. Ironically, all western companies that have made it to India, have the same kind of support as you mentioned, like Uber, Amazon(lately) etc.
I'm unsure what the Dukaan model is, as its a storefront business, I guess most requests were essentially about how to do this/that on the store front, that can basically be an LLM ran over a small data set of their own FAQ. I wonder if their bot also has hallucination issues.. The 10% remaining CX folks are probably there to answer questions or give support on the genuine problems that are solved case by case.

Reading the comments here, seems like countries have really good integrations with QR menus, like Apple/Google Pay, out here, in India, all we mostly get is a download for a PDF hosted on a Google Drive, that is a bunch of images and is a 50-100 MB download (because why compress?), and then you have to constantly pinch to zoom and pan through the document, I have some 40-50 of them on my phone because when I go again, I won't remember the menu already exists with me, I'll download again.
The ones that are decent are also not that great, the JS code that runs constantly stutters and its basically a delivery menu, allowing you to place orders, seems off putting in dining out.
Have had a hard time convincing waiting staff to give me a physical menu, and I keep hearing a response, we have QR, as if that's making them somehow tech-savvy. Its a restaurant, I don't think you ever need to be tech-savvy, just serve good food. Doubt they'd be able to reduce waiting staff by introducing these tech features anyway.
Worst is McDonald's (IND) attempting to force people to use the large TV touchscreens to place orders, and two or more people (helpers) keep helping you use it and eventually place the whole order for you, and it lacks customizations like no tomatoes etc, so you anyway give up and go to the counter. It's possibly an attempt to reduce work staff, but seems forced on to the customer. And the touch latency is just... resistive touch phones were a lot better.

Colima has been an awesome replacement of Docker Desktop for me on Mac. It seems to run light, doesn't prompt for updates on system launch, in fact doesn't even auto launch on startup, have to manually do colima start. And docker just works flawlessly. Kudos to the team who built this. Best part is this nifty little command that allows for auto complete script generation for the required shell, try it:
colima completion zsh
Using 14" M1 Pro Mac, experience may vary on different hardware I suppose.

I started writing flutter apps in their RC1, and since then up till last year (since then I haven't written flutter), flutter had scrolling frame drops on both iOS and Android (high and low end). It was unrelated to device, and happened always when using the listview builder. It may have been fixed now, but it was an issue for a long while. And it also plagued web (hummingbird then).

> Right, I'm that way too. But the rest of the world basically chose to download another app instead.
> So that's what I wonder about -- why did the US not bother, but the rest of the world did? What was different about the US?
Not sure about the rest of the world, but India specifically, has more whatsapp users because we have more Android users. iPhone is considered more of a luxury here, even now and with millions using android devices, ios users do end up downloading a common app that everyone has. Also helped by the fact that there's no standardisation of message apps in android, though Google messages is trying RCS, more than half the phones don't ship with Google messages, even the close to stock ones like OnePlus have their own implementation, so a third party became standard for even android to android communication.

Please check the tags you use when you add a posting. A lot of scrapers use these and people filter on them. You've added "VISA" but also say "this job is open to US Residents only. Foreign nationals CAN apply, but only if you live within the US", seems you've copied a previous post and replaced some content, forgot to replace some
