My major pain point is that Google requires me to use the YouTube app to authenticate when I sign. If it wasn’t for that, I wouldn’t have it on my phone at all.

Unfortunately, Winterbreak doesn’t work on Kindles with the latest firmware (5.18.1 or 2). And there’s no way to downgrade the firmware to an earlier one without having previously jailbroken your device.

So now it’s a waiting game to see when the new method for the latest firmware will be ready for the public.

Man, I _really_ want to play a Nobilis/Chuubo’s/Glitch game. But I can’t seem to wrap my head around the system(s), and it’s incredibly hard to find an AP that will help me understand how they work.

How would you teach a newbie the game(s)?

For me, the reason I keep a Chromium browser around is because government websites sometimes just don’t work on anything other than bog standard Chrome.

Agreed. iOS integration is really key for me. But I can understand that the developer doesn’t have an Apple device and isn’t interested in personally supporting it because of the cost and Apple’s attitude towards open source.

As much as I loved Hannibal, the sound mix for it was atrocious. It was a meme in the fandom while the show aired, and nothing was done to correct it.

I have a 12 Mini, and I feel no reason to upgrade. I'm disappointed that they seem to given up on the smaller sized phones almost entirely.

I think that Fury Road is a great example of purely visual storytelling.

As for the Mad Max franchise, I think of it (I can’t remember where I first saw this idea) as the same legend retold over multiple generations of oral storytellers. So the world gets less and less detailed and the characters change with each retelling.

That’s why I see it differently than I see Star Wars 7 & 9 (I loved 8 though).

This should be a little different from everyone else's pretty technical blogs :).

I write in fits and starts (and just by looking at it right now, it's been a minute since I wrote on there, but I have a few half written posts that I should just throw up there), and mostly have been writing about my struggles with productivity and making indie films.
