I live in a wine region in central Calif where everyone has a tractor. We bought a Kubota, enjoy using it and get a lot of work done with it. We have a neighbor that bought a new John Deere and for about a 3 month period we endured nothing but abuse from him because we didn't buy "American". Then his problems started...

And why did he say that? And what was the end result of him posting that?

You should add context so people know that Kaiser was delaying his treatment, Trump's team got Kaiser in gear so that he could receive it (Trump did indeed help him). Now imagine any other non-famous person with Stage IV cancer trying to get treatment without the help of a president.

I've been daily driving it for months now and really like it. It's a nice introduction to tiling window managers, has a well thought out key mapping and generally looks reasonably nice while getting out of my way as an embedded dev.

Another happy Legion 5 Pro user here. It's not terrible on battery, but not great either. I usually carry one of those 26Mah battery banks in my bag just in case.

I hear this "crime is down" theme a lot. But I see with my own eyes, in my own neighborhood, that the opposite is happening. Other people do as well and that is a big reason why the news media is viewed negatively.

I haven't found Oban difficult to work with and it has the added benefit of ensuring your jobs are run only once. There is also the cron functionality that I find really useful for scheduling.

I use Claude code with Elixir and Phoenix. It's been mostly great but after a short time into a project it seems to break something unrelated to the task at hand.
