Because it is about learning. You can't learn a hard phrase on an instrument without slowing down. You can't touch type fastly without learning the motions slowly first.

Because Valve doesn't have an insane amount of employees and since it is not critical software, the downtime is fine.

used to self host email, but not getting blacklisted was pure pain - so I switched to fastmail.

I stopped mostly hosting things, using Syncthing to sync my files. Don't need a lot more.

For me it would be a premium rice cooker, Fastmail and Studio One (a DAW).

It was probably not Buffett, but either Todd or Ted. Before the Microsoft Deal was lucky, both of them had incredible returns - as their allocation capital is much lower.

My eye-doctor an old guy just before retirement said after being asked about laser treatments: He had a patient that spent 5k on a laster surgery. Nothing went wrong, but it didn't improve his eyes. It would have been better to go on a good vacation.

There is sadly no guarantee that they help, and they can damage your eyes in the worst case.

That would require the search to work properly. Search for Device Manager: Dev - Devi - Device - Device Manager (Internet Suggestions). What? Search for Resolve (Da Vinci Resolve) it tries to suggest resolve. I find search in windows is unusable. Windows 11 is slightly better than 10, but not a lot.

How has Microsoft reformed? Windows 11 is more intrusive than ever, it changes default programms more frequently to their desired programms and it is so annyoing to switch browser. THey still are the same old.
