I have a phone and PC rapidly filling up with apps I've created myself because I'm fed up with subscriptions and invasive advertising. And they do exactly what I want them to do, not one iota more. And you don't need Alpha or Fable. Cheap models or local are now capable of doing the job if you are patient and know what you're doing. Calling this stuff AI slop is so short-sighted it's not true. :)

>> artistic manifestos are often very focused on causing some of these feelings in their targets.
I notice you have dropped in 'artistic' which is a new criterion. Sloppy. :) Not interested in chatting with bots for now.

Actually it does matter. They were terrible cars when owned by the British. And there's a chance they'll be much less terrible being owned by the Indians. I'm not sure they're that good to drive either. I had a Jag for a while and it was okay. But a bit of a wallowing boat and don't get me started on the roadholding of a Rangy.

I get what you're saying. It's easy to write something which you're not engaged with. But I do think the future's going be a world where we as humans do much more curation rather than creation. And I'm not sure that that's less creative in the way that we think it is.
