I'm trying to build a extremely simple exercise timer app for multiple platforms, and using Gemini and Junie, I Evaluated Rust+Tauri, Cpp+GT, SWIFT+SWIFTUI, Kotlin+MP, and Dart/Flutter, even though I started hating flutter, when started working with Jetpack Compose for KMP, I have to recognize that flutter is the best option for MP. Maturity, Ecosystem, UI+Backend in a single codebase, etc.

You need to expand your social circle.

You are not alone in this. As a 25y dev I can relate to this. I wasn't disciplined as you, that's a big difference. I entertained myself learning techs outside my job box.

This loneliness happens in many aspects of life. Reading is an example. I always encourage my children into heavy reading. Even I pay them for challenging books. As a result, their way of thinking is above average in almost everything.

But I constantly warn them to look for good peers, people that share their taste in reading, people who they can talk and enjoy the talking, or else they will end up feeling alone.

So my advice, expand your social circle and find people smarter than you, people you can admire and enjoy listening. It worked for me. Good luck and good coding!

There's a direct correlation between learning theoretically (a.k.a. old fashion reading) and the eureka moment when you KNOW you are an expert in something. Yes, the experience is crucial, but as Pasteur said "chance favours the prepared mind".

The sadder part of this is when one of those not-colluded companies decide to increase a big number their service, the others wait to see is people accept this and then they do it as well. There is where we hurt ourselves.

“Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.” Its a cycle we already saw so many times, I believe with so many movements asking for rights, that this is "weak men" part creating hard times.

Mexico did a while ago what so many people is asking for, disband a security corp, result? The Zetas.

Why people is ignoring statistics? People kill people of the same race.

Many of that videos is just a bunch of violent people being put as victims by others people agenda. Is like your big brother hits you, then you hit back and just you are punished.

Be careful and thoughtful in your judgments. If possible try to look back in history and search an alike situation outcome.
