If users don't want crappy PWAs than they wont use them. It's common sense to let "the market decide" -- why not in this case?

Yeah I think so. Often time it's invalid if you have periods without a job. So you paid too much in advance. Then you get it back.

Couldn't you just try out?

Last time I checked through Vultr[0] from South America, Ashburn was significantly faster than Digital Ocean in SFO. Though, not sure if this helps you.

Not sure how I should feel about this. GitHub always felt snappy to me. It's a joy to use and I always admired their approach sending html over the wire. Let's see how this unfolds in the future.

Do you mean you'll only make 19.2k net from 80k gross? That sounds like an awful amount of taxes. I'm from Austria and here it's ~27% for social security and income tax is ranging from 0% to 55%. From 80k gross you would make around 42k net (Calculated without any tax benefits).
