I think the reason AirTag works is because Apple turns it on-by-default on i-devices and people can't be bothered to go turn it off. For a chat to work on the same scale it would literally need Apple or Google to ship it as enabled-by-default on all phones.

> High currents, often resulting from rapid charging, quick acceleration, or high-speed driving, can negatively affect the battery’s state of health.
So to preserve battery health I need to spend 8 hours charging the battery at opposed to 45 minutes? Not a great selling point for EVs.

One downside to pirated content is: 99% of the time it only has English audio track and the majority of the world's population does not have English as their native language. I have small children and they don't understand one word of English, and even if they did, I want them to hear their native language on tv, not English.

How is this any different from any job? I need money to eat and pay rent and I am forced to offer my body as a tool for an employer in exchange for payment, regardless if that job entails sex or laying bricks, if I don't offer my body for work I can't eat or live in a house.
And keep in mind that prostitutes are not exclusively women, there are a lot of male prostitues.

> LLMs in particular can be a very fast, surprisingly decent (but, as you mention, very fallible) replacement for Stack Overflow
I think that sentence nails it. For the people who consider "searching stackoverflow and copy/pasting" as programming, LLMs will replace your job, sure. But software development is so much more, critical thinking, analysing, gathering requirements, testing ideas and figuring out which to reject, and more.
